Each year in December, CommonWealth North invites the next year’s legislature to be guests at this luncheon. Traditionally, the Senate President and House Speaker keynote the event to present their legislative priorities for the upcoming session. Then, several rounds of table conversations, CWN members and legislators discuss the critical issues facing our state. Each legislator is seated at a table with about nine participants. After 15-20 minutes of conversation, legislators change to an adjacent table for the next round of discussion and so on. It’s a great format, and CWN always get positive feedback from legislators and their members who find this exchange information and opinions to be a valuable experience.

This is not a campaign event or a cross-examination. It’s a chance for well-informed Alaskans to discuss vital policy issues with each other in advance of the 2018 legislative session.

We had an excellent turnout last year with a third of the legislature in attendance. This is a unique chance for you to have open and unscripted conversations with our members.

The Alaska Chiropractic Society maintains a membership with CommonWealth North and will be a sponsor at this worthy event again this year.  If you are interested in attending with ACS Leadership, please contact Debbie Ryan at 907.317.4486 or Sheri Ryan at 907.903.1350.

Public is also invited to attend.  For more information, click here
