PROGRAM #2 = 2018 CCA Design-Build Certification Prep Program - for Chiropractic Clinical Assistants - staff who provide patient care/services - we have a 3-Day Program (Fri-Sun) that will provide 24 hours of hands-on education for CCAs.  This program not only meets, but exceeds the standards set forth by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards (FCLB) - the national certifying agent that the Alaska Board of Chiropractic Examiners will be using to certify our state Chiropractic Clinical Assistants starting 2019.  This course will utilize one-of-a-kind training tools while presenting a wide variety of clinical topics appealing to all practice environments.  The course will follow the Chiropractic Therapy Assistant, A Clinical Resource Guide textbook and workbook (included in registration pricing - $165 value).  This course will provide the participant with pertinent information that can be used and referenced when staff return to work Monday morning.  A course competency exam will be given at the end of the course and upon passing, a course completion certificate will be provided.  Upon completion of the course, attendees will be fully prepared to register with FCLB and destined to successfully complete the testing requirement for national Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistant status required under Senate Bill 69 passed into law in August, 2016.  For more information on certification --> Visit the CCCA Program on www.akchiro.org.

Remove all the myths associated with compliance and learn how to tell the story about chiropractic without fear.  Shore up your billing practices with "Audit Yourself Before Someone Else Does" with Dr. Evan Gwilliam sponsored by Infinedi.  Learn to think like an auditor and look for weaknesses in office documentation.  Other session options also available on Thursday.  


Continue assembling the framework for your patient rehabilitation foundation on Friday with 

"10 Steps to Improving Posture & Longevity" with Dr. Mark Sanna sponsored by Breakthrough Coaching.  Learn how to perform dynamic postural assessments and the top ten unskippable steps to transform your active care procedures and help patients develop and maintain better posture and quality of life. Saturday's infrastructure includes - "Navigating the Madness of Medicare Coding and Compliance" with Dr. John LaMonica.  Learn the basics of how Medicare and chiropractic services relate as well as successful documentation requirements for Medicare compliance.  Explore the CMs billing process and how to appropriately handle denials and file appeals.  Continue with  "Medicare Made Simple and CPT Coding for Dummies" with Dr. Evan Gwilliam sponsored by PayDC.  Medicare doesn't have to be the hardest part of your practice.  The rules can be understood and implemented without a ton of extra work.  Learn the rules for the top CPT codes used by chiropractors.  Additional session options available on Saturday.
